Job Title: Blast Furnace Operator

A blast furnace operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a blast furnace, which is used to produce iron and steel. This role involves monitoring and controlling the furnace temperature, adjusting the flow of materials, and ensuring the quality of the final product. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a blast furnace environment and possess strong technical skills.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control the blast furnace temperature
- Adjust the flow of materials into the furnace
- Ensure proper functioning of all equipment
- Make necessary adjustments to maintain production quality
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during production
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in a blast furnace environment
- Strong technical skills and ability to operate complex machinery
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in an industrial setting
- Physical ability to work in a physically demanding environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position with a rotating shift schedule. Candidates must be willing to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Salary:
$1800 per month.

Location:
This position is located in Bungoma, Kenya. Relocation assistance may be provided for qualified candidates outside of Bungoma.

Nationality:
