Entry-Level Turner in Karachi, Pakistan

As an entry-level Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining lathes, mills, and other machinery to shape metal pieces according to specifications. You will work with a variety of materials, including steel, aluminum, and titanium, using precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy. This full-time position in Karachi does not require previous experience, as on-the-job training will be provided.

Responsibilities:
- Study blueprints or specifications to determine the required shape and dimensions of the finished product
- Set up and operate machines to perform turning operations on metal pieces
- Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to check dimensions of finished pieces
- Adjust machine controls to ensure proper cutting speeds and feed rates
- Inspect finished pieces for defects or imperfections
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure proper functioning
- Adhere to safety procedures at all times
- Communicate with coworkers and supervisors regarding any issues or concerns

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic understanding of machinery and tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers
- Physical stamina and strength to stand for extended periods of time and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
- Attention to detail and strong hand-eye coordination
- Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from supervisors
- Valid visa for living and working in Pakistan (visa sponsorship available)

Salary:
The starting salary for this entry-level position is 1500$ per month.

Location:
This job is located in Karachi, Pakistan.

Working Hours:
This is a full-time position with working hours from Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm.
