Job Title: Part-Time Instrument Technician
Location: Alta, Norway


We are seeking a motivated and skilled Instrument Technician to join our team in Alta, Norway on a part-time basis. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various instruments and equipment used in the production and manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair various instruments such as pressure gauges, temperature sensors, flow meters, and control valves
- Troubleshoot issues with instruments and equipment to identify root cause and implement solutions
- Calibrate instruments according to industry standards
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on instruments and equipment
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working with industrial instruments preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems
- Ability to read technical drawings and manuals
- Good communication skills in English (Norwegian is a plus)
- Physically fit to perform tasks such as climbing ladders or carrying heavy equipment
