Our transportation company is seeking a reliable and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team in Washington. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods over long distances, adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent driving skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:
- Transport goods over long distances, typically between states or provinces
- Plan routes and meet delivery deadlines
- Adhere to all safety regulations and traffic laws
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Report any vehicle malfunctions or accidents immediately
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and deliveries made
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers on the road
- Ensure that cargo is secure and properly loaded onto the truck
- Follow company policies and procedures at all times

Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a truck driver
- Clean driving record with no accidents or violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to drive long hours and travel overnight when necessary
- Knowledge of truck maintenance and basic repairs is an asset
- Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written)
- High level of physical fitness for loading/unloading cargo if required

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary package of $1500 per month plus benefits including health insurance, paid time off, and bonuses.

Accommodation:
We provide accommodation for our Long Haul Truck Drivers while they are on the road. This includes sleeping accommodations in the truck or access to hotel rooms during rest stops.

Biometric Passport:
A valid biometric passport is required for this position as it may involve crossing international borders.
