Part-Time Information Security Analyst


As a Part-Time Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of our company's information systems and data. This role is ideal for students or those looking for a part-time job in Faro.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze system logs and network traffic to identify potential security threats
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in our systems
- Implement and maintain security measures, such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems
- Develop and maintain security policies and procedures
- Provide training to employees on information security best practices
- Respond to security incidents and perform forensic analysis when necessary
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, security threats, and new technologies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or currently pursuing)
- Knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and information security best practices
- Familiarity with tools such as vulnerability scanners, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in English (Portuguese is a plus)
- Available to work part-time in Faro without accommodation

Salary:
This part-time position offers a salary of 1100$ per month.
