Chemical Process Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chemical Process Engineer to join our team at a leading chemical plant in Ar-Ruwais. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, as well as 3+ years of experience in process design, optimization, and troubleshooting in a chemical manufacturing environment. The role will involve working closely with production teams to improve efficiency and quality of processes, while also ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure are essential for success in this role. This is a contract position with visa sponsorship available for non-Malayalee candidates. Salary will be $1100 per month.

As a Chemical Process Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

- Conducting process design and optimization studies to improve efficiency and quality of chemical production processes
- Troubleshooting process issues and developing solutions to improve performance
- Collaborating with production teams to implement process changes and ensure smooth operation of equipment
- Monitoring process parameters and analyzing data to identify opportunities for improvement
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, as well as environmental standards
- Participating in project planning and execution for new process installations or modifications
- Maintaining accurate documentation of processes, procedures, and changes made
- Identifying cost-saving opportunities by optimizing processes or utilizing alternative materials or methods

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in process design, optimization, and troubleshooting within the chemical manufacturing industry
- Knowledge of safety regulations and environmental standards related to chemical production
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make recommendations for improvements
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with project planning and execution is preferred
- Fluent English communication skills; Malayalee candidates preferred but not required
- Available for a contract position with visa sponsorship
