Indian Chef


We are seeking a talented and experienced Indian Chef to join our team at our restaurant in Sheduva. As an Indian Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing authentic Indian dishes, ensuring high quality and consistency in taste. You will also be responsible for managing the kitchen staff, maintaining inventory and food supplies, and ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and create menus featuring traditional Indian dishes
- Prepare ingredients and cook a variety of Indian dishes
- Train and manage kitchen staff, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing feedback
- Ensure all food is prepared according to recipes and company standards
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for ingredients as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure food safety
- Collaborate with other chefs to develop new menu items or specials

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Indian Chef or relevant role in a restaurant setting
- In-depth knowledge of Indian cuisine, cooking techniques, spices, and ingredients
- Ability to create delicious dishes that meet high quality standards consistently
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and manage kitchen staff effectively
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1200 per month for this position.

Location:
This position is located in Sheduva. Relocation assistance may be provided for the right candidate.
