Blast Furnace Operator/Technician


We are hiring a Blast Furnace Operator/Technician to join our team in Osijek, Croatia. As a Blast Furnace Operator/Technician, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the blast furnace machinery and equipment to produce high-quality iron products. Your duties will include monitoring furnace temperatures, adjusting controls, conducting quality checks, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with blast furnaces and possess strong technical skills. This is a contract position with a competitive salary of 1800$ per month. Accommodation and visa support can be provided for non-Croatian applicants.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor blast furnace machinery and equipment
- Maintain proper furnace temperatures and adjust controls as needed
- Conduct quality checks to ensure production of high-quality iron products
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during production
- Follow safety protocols at all times
- Keep accurate records of production data and maintenance logs

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years experience working with blast furnaces
- Strong technical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and make adjustments as needed
- Knowledge of safety protocols in an industrial setting
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment for extended periods of time
- Good communication skills in English (Croatian language proficiency is a plus)
- Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays if necessary
