Contract Instrument Technician
Location: Lisbon, Portugal


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Instrument Technician to join our team on a contract basis. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and calibrating various instruments used in industrial settings. This is a hands-on role that requires a high level of technical knowledge and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair various types of instruments such as pressure gauges, flow meters, temperature controllers, and level indicators
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration on instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Read technical manuals and electrical schematics to diagnose issues and make necessary repairs
- Utilize computer software to program instruments and record data
- Follow safety protocols when working with hazardous materials or in potentially dangerous environments
- Communicate with other team members and management to coordinate projects and keep track of inventory

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Instrument Technician in an industrial setting
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and instrumentation principles
- Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and electrical schematics
- Familiarity with computer software used for programming and data recording
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work occasional overtime or weekends as needed

Education:
A degree or diploma in instrumentation technology or a related field is preferred but not required. Equivalent experience will also be considered.

Salary:
The salary for this contract position is $1400 per month.
