Speech Therapist


We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech Therapist to join our team in Medina. As a Speech Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders in patients of all ages. You will work closely with patients and their families to develop individualized treatment plans and provide therapy sessions to improve speech, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial evaluations and assessments of patients' communication and swallowing abilities
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' needs and goals
- Provide therapy sessions using a variety of techniques such as articulation therapy, language intervention, oral motor exercises, etc.
- Collaborate with patients' families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
- Stay updated on advancements in the field of speech therapy through continuing education opportunities
- Educate patients and their families on strategies for improving communication skills at home

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field
- Valid license to practice as a Speech Therapist in Medina (or willingness to obtain one)
- Previous experience working with patients with communication and swallowing disorders is preferred
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Compassionate nature with the ability to connect with patients of all ages
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
