Speech Therapist for Contract Position in Al-Khor, Qatar


A reputable healthcare facility in Al-Khor, Qatar is seeking a skilled and experienced Speech Therapist to join our team on a contract basis. As a Speech Therapist, you will work with patients of all ages to assess and treat communication and swallowing disorders. This is an excellent opportunity for an Indian national with fluent English communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations to determine the type and severity of speech or swallowing disorder
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and patient goals
- Implement evidence-based therapy techniques to improve speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities
- Provide education and resources to patients and their families on communication strategies and techniques for home practice
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and any changes in condition

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Speech Therapist in a clinical setting
- Strong knowledge of speech-language development and disorders across the lifespan
- Experience working with patients with various diagnoses such as autism, cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injury, etc.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Hindi or any other Indian language is preferred
