Instrument Technician - Mecca, Saudi Arabia
We are currently hiring an Instrument Technician to join our team in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments and control systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and experience working with instrumentation in industrial settings. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of 1600$. We welcome applicants from all nationalities with proficiency in English. Prior experience is not required but is considered a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair various types of instruments and control systems
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on instruments to ensure proper functioning
- Troubleshoot and diagnose any issues or malfunctions in instrumentation systems
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of equipment and systems
- Keep accurate records of work performed and report any potential issues or concerns to management
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience working as an Instrument Technician in an industrial setting
- Knowledge of various types of instruments such as pressure gauges, flow meters, temperature sensors etc.
- Familiarity with control systems such as PLCs and SCADA systems
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
