Preservation Architect - Contract Position in Kaunas, Egypt


We are hiring a Preservation Architect for a contract position in Kaunas, Egypt. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for architectural preservation and a desire to work on unique projects.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and analysis on historical buildings and structures
- Develop preservation plans and proposals
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure preservation guidelines are followed
- Oversee restoration projects, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to timelines
- Evaluate the condition of existing structures and make recommendations for repairs or improvements
- Collaborate with local authorities to obtain necessary permits and approvals
- Maintain accurate documentation of all preservation projects

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in architectural preservation or restoration work
- Strong knowledge of historical preservation techniques, materials, and codes
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or other design software is preferred

Salary:
This is a contract position with a starting salary of 1400$ per month.
