Architectural Preservation Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled Architectural Preservation Specialist to join our team in Kaunas, Lithuania. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures. Your duties will include conducting research, analyzing building materials and techniques, developing preservation plans, and overseeing restoration projects.
Requirements:
- Degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in architectural preservation
- Knowledge of historic building materials and techniques
- Understanding of local and international preservation standards
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and project management abilities
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on the history, design, and construction of historic buildings
- Analyze the condition of existing structures and identify areas in need of preservation or restoration
- Develop preservation plans and recommendations based on research and analysis
- Oversee restoration projects to ensure adherence to preservation standards
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to implement preservation plans
- Provide guidance on maintenance and repair techniques for historic buildings
Salary: $1200 per month (negotiable based on experience)
