Architectural Technologist - Svalbard


As an Architectural Technologist, you will work closely with architects and engineers to create detailed drawings and plans for building construction. Your role will involve using computer-aided design (CAD) software to produce accurate technical drawings and specifications. You will also be responsible for conducting site visits, coordinating with contractors and suppliers, and ensuring that the building project adheres to regulations and safety standards.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to develop building plans and designs
- Use CAD software to create detailed technical drawings and specifications
- Conduct site visits to gather measurements, assess conditions, and monitor progress of construction
- Review project plans for compliance with regulations and safety standards
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders involved in the building project
- Advise on materials selection, budgeting, and scheduling
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other documentation as needed

Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in Architectural Technology or a related field
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD or Revit)
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members and stakeholders
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary:
This is a full-time position offering a salary of 1500$ per month.
