Android Developer - Clairvaux, Kenya


We are seeking an experienced Android Developer to join our growing team in Clairvaux, Kenya. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for our clients. This role requires a strong understanding of the Android platform and experience with Java and Kotlin programming languages.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality Android applications using Java and Kotlin
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test new features
- Ensure code quality through code reviews and unit testing
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing applications
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in mobile development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 2+ years of experience in Android development using Java and Kotlin
- Experience with Android SDK, APIs, and third-party libraries
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality code on schedule
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Git version control system
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Knowledge of design patterns such as MVP or MVVM
- Experience with Firebase or other backend services for mobile apps

Salary: $1200 per month (negotiable based on experience)
