Contract Fitter


We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Fitter to join our team on a contract basis in the United States. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and repairing various mechanical components and systems according to blueprints and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints
- Measure and mark cutting lines on material according to specifications
- Operate hand and power tools to shape, cut, or weld metal components
- Assemble parts using bolts, screws, rivets, or welding techniques
- Conduct quality checks to ensure all components meet required standards
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues as needed

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Fitter or similar role
- Strong knowledge of mechanical principles and techniques
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and blueprints
- Experience operating hand and power tools safely
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

This is a contract position with a salary of $1400 per week. Accommodation will not be provided; however, we are willing to offer visa sponsorship for qualified candidates.
