Executive Chef - Egyptian Cuisine
We are hiring an experienced Executive Chef with expertise in Egyptian cuisine to join our team in El-Ain. As the head of our kitchen, you will be responsible for creating and implementing menus, managing food preparation, and maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Egyptian food, strong leadership skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1700$. Kenyan and Egyptian nationals are encouraged to apply. No English language proficiency is required.
Responsibilities:
- Create and update menus featuring traditional Egyptian dishes
- Train and manage kitchen staff, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality food
- Oversee food preparation, including cooking, plating, and presentation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with management to develop new dishes or seasonal specials
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a restaurant setting
- Proven expertise in Egyptian cuisine
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
