JAVA Developer

We are hiring a skilled JAVA Developer to join our team in Braga. As a JAVA Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining complex web applications using JAVA technologies. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and experience with agile development methodologies. This is a contract job with a competitive salary of 1000$ per month. Accommodation will be provided and candidates must have their own visa to work in Braga.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop software solutions using JAVA technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and provide technical expertise
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices
- Troubleshoot issues and provide timely resolutions
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to process improvements
- Keep up-to-date with new technologies and industry trends

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Proven experience as a JAVA Developer or similar role
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles
- Experience with agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- Proficiency in Java SE/EE, Spring Framework, Hibernate/JPA, RESTful web services, HTML/CSS/JavaScript
- Familiarity with relational databases (MySQL, Oracle) and version control tools (Git)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

Preferred:
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as AngularJS or ReactJS
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Knowledge of continuous integration/delivery processes
