Mason - Construction Worker



We are in search of a skilled Mason to join our construction team in Ajman. As a Mason, you will be responsible for laying and repairing brick, block, stone, and other types of masonry materials to construct or repair walls, foundations, floors, arches, chimneys, and other structures.

Key Responsibilities:

- Interpret blueprints and construction plans to determine the layout and materials needed for each project
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, measuring tapes, or marking tools
- Cut or break bricks, stones, or blocks to the desired size using hand or power tools
- Align structures by determining the appropriate starting point and using plumb bobs or levels
- Mix mortar or grout according to standard formulas and spread it onto surfaces using trowels
- Lay bricks or other masonry units in rows, patterns or shapes required for the project
- Repair cracked or damaged masonry work by replacing broken bricks or stones
- Clean excess mortar from surfaces using hammers, chisels, or scrapers

Requirements:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mason in the construction industry
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
- Proficient in using hand and power tools such as trowels, hammers, levels, etc.
- Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination
- Attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently when needed

Salary: 1700$ per month
