Database Administrator (Entry Level)

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Database Administrator. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the security, integrity, and performance of our company's databases. This is an entry level position, ideal for someone looking to gain experience in database administration.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain and monitor company databases to ensure data security and integrity
- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues
- Optimize database performance by conducting regular maintenance tasks
- Create and implement backup and recovery plans
- Collaborate with other team members to design and implement new database features
- Provide technical support to users of the databases

Requirements:
- Biometric passport required for security clearance purposes
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Strong understanding of relational database management systems (RDBMS)
- Basic knowledge of SQL and database design principles
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proven ability to learn new technologies quickly

Salary:
Starting salary for this contract position is 1100$. Salary may be negotiable based on experience.
