Job Title: Software Developer - Biometric Security

As a Software Developer specializing in biometric security, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions that utilize biometric technology to enhance security measures. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design and develop software systems, and ensure the products meet quality standards. Your work will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and privacy of our company's systems and data.

Key Responsibilities:
- Designing, developing, and implementing software solutions that incorporate biometric technology
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design software systems
- Writing clean, efficient code using programming languages such as Java or C++
- Performing testing and debugging to ensure software meets quality standards
- Conducting research on emerging biometric technologies and incorporating them into our software solutions
- Ensuring compliance with data protection regulations and best practices for secure coding

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience as a Software Developer or similar role
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java or C++
- Strong understanding of biometric technology and its applications in security
- Familiarity with data protection regulations (e.g. GDPR) and secure coding practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Able to work effectively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Knowledge of facial recognition, fingerprint scanning, voice recognition, or other biometric modalities
- Experience working with databases (e.g. SQL)

Location: Lisbon is preferred but remote work may be considered for exceptional candidates.

Salary: Starting salary of 1700$ per month based on experience.
