We are seeking a skilled and experienced Contract Finisher to join our team in Funchal, Portugal. As a Finisher, you will be responsible for completing the final stages of production on various projects according to specifications and deadlines. This is a contract position with the potential for long-term employment.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and apply finishes such as paint, stain, or varnish to completed products
- Use hand and power tools to sand, buff, and polish surfaces
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance
- Follow project plans and instructions from supervisors
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a finisher in a production or woodworking setting
- Knowledge of different types of finishes and proper application techniques
- Ability to read and interpret project plans and instructions
- Attention to detail and quality control skills
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects if needed

Preferred:
- Certification in finishing or related field
- Experience using spray guns or other finishing equipment
- Familiarity with safety procedures in a manufacturing setting
- Fluent in Portuguese (written and spoken)

Salary: $1700 per month (negotiable based on experience)
