A reputable construction company in Al Buraymi, Oman is seeking an experienced Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and equipment through the use of welders, cutters, shapers and measuring tools. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in welding and will be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine project requirements
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, squares or marking devices
- Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using processes such as gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), flux-cored arc welding (FCAW) or shielded metal arc welding (SMAW)
- Inspect welded joints for accuracy and completeness by using measuring devices such as micrometers, gauges or calipers
- Clean and maintain welding equipment on a regular basis
- Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification in welding is preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in welding; experience with GTAW, GMAW, FCAW, or SMAW preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications accurately
- Proficient in using various hand tools such as grinders, drills and saws
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Willingness to work overtime when necessary
