Job Title: Network and Systems Administrator



As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and support of computer systems, networks, and software for our company in Utena. Your main duties will include troubleshooting network issues, configuring and monitoring network security systems, managing user accounts and permissions, and providing technical support to employees.

To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of computer networks and systems administration. You should also possess excellent problem-solving skills and have a customer service-oriented mindset. Previous experience in network administration or a related field is required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain computer systems, networks, servers, and software
- Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely resolutions
- Configure network security systems (e.g., firewalls, VPNs) to ensure maximum protection
- Monitor system performance to identify potential problems and proactively implement solutions
- Manage user accounts and permissions on the network
- Provide technical support to employees regarding hardware, software, or network issues
- Perform regular system backups to ensure data is protected in case of disasters
- Keep up-to-date with new technologies in the field of networking and make recommendations for improvements

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Proven experience as a Network or Systems Administrator (at least 2 years)
- Strong understanding of networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP protocols)
- Experience with network security technologies (e.g., firewalls, VPNs)
- Knowledge of Windows operating systems (server 2016/2019) is required; Linux knowledge is a plus
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware) is preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
