Network and Systems Administrator



We are hiring a qualified Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Utena! As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining our organization's computer network and systems. This is a contract job with a salary of 1100$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Configuring and maintaining network hardware, software, and communication links
- Monitoring network performance and troubleshooting issues
- Installing and upgrading software applications
- Managing user accounts, permissions, email, anti-virus, and spam filtering
- Ensuring data backup and disaster recovery processes are in place
- Providing technical support to users for network-related issues
- Collaborating with other IT professionals to design and implement new systems or upgrades

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience as a Network and Systems Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Experience with network security practices (firewalls, VPNs)
- Proficient in Windows operating systems (Server 2012/2016/2019)
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals

Preference will be given to candidates who are English-speaking and have previous experience working with foreigners. This position is suitable for both men and women. Accommodation will not be provided by the company.
