Executive Chef - Indian Cuisine (Dickirch, Luxembourg)
The Executive Chef will be responsible for creating and overseeing the Indian cuisine menu at our upscale restaurant in Dickirch, Luxembourg. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Indian cuisine, with a strong knowledge of traditional and modern techniques and flavors. This is a contract position with a salary of $900 per month, including free visa and ticket.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and design a diverse menu of authentic Indian dishes that appeals to our clientele
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, plating and presentation
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure high-quality standards are met
- Manage food inventory and ordering, ensuring freshness and minimizing waste
- Collaborate with management to plan special events or themed menus
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen at all times
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience as an Executive Chef specializing in Indian cuisine
- Strong understanding of traditional and modern cooking techniques, flavors, and ingredients used in Indian cuisine
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate kitchen staff
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent communication skills in English
