Junior Civil Engineer - Vianden, Luxembourg
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Junior Civil Engineer to join our team in Vianden, Luxembourg. As a Junior Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting with the design, planning, and construction of various infrastructure projects such as buildings, roads, bridges, and water systems. You will work closely with senior engineers to develop detailed plans and drawings, conduct site inspections and surveys, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and planning of civil engineering projects
- Create detailed plans and drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Conduct site inspections and surveys to gather data for project planning
- Collaborate with senior engineers to ensure designs meet project requirements
- Prepare cost estimates for materials, equipment, labor, and other project expenses
- Monitor project progress to ensure deadlines are met
- Communicate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to provide project updates
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail
- Strong proficiency in CAD software
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Knowledge of construction processes and materials
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Must be able to obtain own visa for working in Luxembourg
This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary of 1800$ per month. Accommodation can also be provided for candidates if needed.
