Typesetter

We are seeking a skilled Typesetter to join our team in Kaunas. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for accurately setting and arranging text and images for various print and digital materials, such as books, magazines, and websites. Your primary goal will be to ensure the layout and design of our publications meet high-quality standards.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and format text and images for print or digital publication
- Check for accuracy in spelling, grammar, and punctuation
- Collaborate with writers, editors, and designers to ensure cohesive layout and design
- Use specialized software to adjust font sizes, styles, spacing, and alignment
- Make necessary adjustments to fit text within designated space constraints
- Ensure consistency in design elements throughout publications
- Meet tight deadlines while maintaining high quality standards

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Typesetter or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of typography principles and design software (such as Adobe InDesign)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors in text or layout
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
- Good time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field is preferred

Salary: $1500 per month

This is a full-time position for candidates who are currently residing in Kaunas. We welcome candidates from all nationalities but proficiency in English is required.
