Handyman in Malindi

As a Handyman in Malindi, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks on various properties. Your main duties will include fixing and repairing plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems, as well as performing general maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry, and landscaping. This position offers a competitive salary of 1500$ per month and includes accommodation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and troubleshoot various systems including plumbing, electrical, and mechanical
- Perform repairs and maintenance tasks as needed
- Install new fixtures or appliances if necessary
- Handle basic carpentry tasks such as building shelves or repairing furniture
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues or hazards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas
- Communicate with property owners to understand their needs and address any concerns
- Keep accurate records of work performed

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a handyman or similar role
- Knowledge of various repair techniques for plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Basic carpentry skills
- Ability to use hand and power tools effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills in English (French proficiency is an asset)
- Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects if necessary

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a hospitality or property management setting is an asset
- Experience with landscaping or gardening is a plus
