Instrument Technician - Fonvieille, France



We are a leading manufacturing company in the oil and gas industry and we are seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Fonvieille, France. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various instruments and control systems used in our production facilities.

Key responsibilities:
- Install new instruments and control systems according to engineering specifications
- Troubleshoot and repair faulty instruments and control systems
- Perform routine maintenance on instruments to ensure proper functioning
- Calibrate instruments and make necessary adjustments to maintain accuracy
- Keep detailed records of maintenance and repair work performed
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to improve processes and resolve technical issues

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role in the oil and gas industry
- Strong knowledge of various instruments such as pressure gauges, temperature sensors, flow meters, etc.
- Familiarity with PLC systems and SCADA software
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Good physical stamina for working in different weather conditions
- Safety-conscious mindset
- Relevant technical degree or certification preferred
