Sous Chef
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team in St-Petersburg. As a Sous Chef, you will assist the head chef in managing the kitchen operations and ensuring high-quality food preparation. Your main responsibilities will include overseeing food production, maintaining kitchen hygiene and safety standards, and training junior kitchen staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the head chef in menu planning and creating new dishes
- Oversee food production and ensure high-quality presentation and taste
- Maintain kitchen hygiene and safety standards according to health codes
- Train junior kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and procedures
- Manage inventory and control food costs
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant or hotel
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and ingredients
- Familiarity with menu costing procedures
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with good leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification
- Experience working in a multicultural environment
- Bilingual (English/Russian) is an asset

$1000 per month
