Indian Cuisine Chef
As an Indian Cuisine Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing traditional Indian dishes with a modern twist. You will be expected to have a deep understanding of Indian spices, cooking techniques, and cultural significance of each dish. You should also have strong leadership skills to manage kitchen staff and maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and update menus with new and innovative Indian dishes
- Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to traditional recipes
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety procedures
- Monitor food inventory levels and maintain stock of necessary ingredients
- Ensure all food is prepared and presented in a timely manner with high quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen area
- Collaborate with restaurant management on special events or promotions featuring Indian cuisine
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Indian Cuisine Chef or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of Indian spices, cooking techniques, and cultural significance of dishes
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Salary: $1000 per month
