Moderator - Faro, Portugal


As a Moderator, you will be responsible for monitoring online forums and communities to ensure that all content posted is appropriate and follows community guidelines. Your main role will be to moderate discussions and conversations, enforce rules and regulations, and maintain a positive and safe online environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor online forums and communities on a daily basis
- Review and moderate user-generated content according to community guidelines
- Respond to user inquiries and concerns in a timely manner
- Enforce rules and regulations by issuing warnings or banning users when necessary
- Maintain a positive and safe online environment for all users
- Collaborate with team members to develop new policies or guidelines as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in community management or moderation
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (Portuguese proficiency is a plus)
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and online communities
- Proven experience in conflict resolution and handling difficult situations
- Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure
- Familiarity with moderation tools such as Hootsuite or Sprout Social is preferred

We offer competitive salary of $1800 per month, as well as accommodation options if needed. Candidates must have their own visa to work in Portugal.
