Instrument Technician

An Instrument Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various instruments and equipment used in industrial processes. They work closely with engineers and other technicians to ensure that all instruments are functioning properly and safely. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems.

Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, and maintain various types of instruments such as pressure gauges, temperature sensors, flow meters, and control valves
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on instruments to ensure proper functioning
- Troubleshoot issues with instruments and equipment using technical knowledge and diagnostic tools
- Repair or replace faulty components as needed
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed
- Collaborate with engineers to design and implement new instrument systems
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
- Keep up-to-date with industry advancements in instrument technology

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; certificate or associate's degree in instrumentation preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Instrument Technician in an industrial setting
- Familiarity with various types of instruments such as pressure, temperature, level, flow, and analytical instruments
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and pressure calibrators
- Good understanding of electrical circuits and schematics
- Ability to read engineering drawings and technical manuals
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Tagalog is a plus
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary: $1700 per month (negotiable based on experience)

City: Al Ahmadi (preferred location but open to other locations)

Country: Kuwait (open to candidates from any nationality)
