Metal Fabricator - Os, Norway

As a Metal Fabricator, you will use specialized equipment and tools to cut, shape, and join metal parts for various projects. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. You will also be responsible for maintaining and repairing metal equipment and structures. This is a contract job in Os, Norway with a salary of 1200$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Use hand and power tools to cut, bend, and shape metal parts according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, or instructions from supervisors
- Weld or solder metal parts together using various techniques such as gas welding or arc welding
- Operate machinery such as shears, saws, drills, or grinders to shape metal pieces
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Repair damaged metal components or structures by welding or using other techniques
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
- Follow all safety procedures and use protective gear when necessary

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Metal Fabricator or similar role
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately
- Proficient in using hand and power tools for cutting, shaping, and welding metal parts
- Knowledge of different welding techniques such as gas welding or arc welding
- Physical strength to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods of time
- Attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality work
- Good understanding of safety procedures when working with metal equipment or machinery

Preferred Qualifications:
- Vocational training in Metalworking or related field
- Certification in Welding
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing or construction setting
- Basic knowledge of mathematics for measurements
