Carpenter



As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood and other materials. Your main duties will include reading and interpreting blueprints, measuring and cutting materials, shaping and joining pieces of wood or other materials, and installing structures such as cabinets, doors, stairs, and framework.

To be successful in this role, you should have at least 3 years of experience working as a Carpenter. You must also have a strong understanding of different types of wood and how to work with them effectively. Excellent mathematical skills are essential for accurate measurements and calculations.

As this position offers accommodation, it is preferred that the candidate is willing to relocate to La-Condamine or is already located in the city. You must also be physically fit and able to lift heavy materials and equipment. Attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work independently are also important traits for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine project specifications
- Measure and cut materials according to specifications
- Shape or join pieces of wood or other materials using hand tools or machines
- Install structures such as cabinets, doors, stairs, framework, etc.
- Repair existing structures by replacing damaged parts or fixing structural issues
- Follow safety procedures at all times
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition
- Work effectively with team members or independently as required

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in carpentry is preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Carpenter
- Strong understanding of different types of wood and their uses
- Proficient in using hand tools such as saws, chisels, hammers, etc.
- Ability to read blueprints accurately
- Excellent mathematical skills for measurements and calculations
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials or equipment
- Attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Good communication skills

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1300$ per month, with accommodation provided.

Location:
This position is located in the city of La-Condamine. As accommodation is provided, it is preferred that the candidate is willing to relocate to the city or is already located there.
