Smelter Operator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Smelter Operator to join our team in Bungoma. As a Smelter Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining smelting equipment to melt and refine metals, such as iron, copper, and aluminum. Your duties will include monitoring the smelting process, adjusting controls to maintain proper temperatures and flow rates, and performing quality checks on the finished product. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting any issues that may arise during the smelting process and ensuring all safety protocols are followed.

To excel in this role, you should have prior experience as a Smelter Operator or in a similar position in a metal production facility. Knowledge of smelting techniques and equipment is essential. You should also have strong attention to detail and the ability to work with precision under pressure.

Responsibilities:
- Operate smelting equipment according to established procedures
- Monitor the smelting process and make adjustments as needed
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications

Requirements:

- Good physical stamina and ability to work in hot environments
