Cashier for Retail Store
We are hiring a Cashier to join our team at a retail store in Mombasa. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling customer transactions, operating the cash register, and providing excellent customer service. This position is open to Egyptian nationals who are fluent in English and have no prior experience.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude
- Scan and process items accurately and efficiently through the cash register
- Accept payments in various forms (cash, credit cards, vouchers)
- Issue receipts and change to customers
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations of the store
Requirements:
- Egyptian national living in Mombasa
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- No prior experience required as training will be provided
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Basic math skills
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Salary:
This position offers a salary of $1400 per month.
