Senior Level Developer - Svalbard


The Senior Level Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality software applications for our company in Svalbard. This individual will work closely with the development team and project managers to ensure that all projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, code, test, and debug software applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop technical specifications
- Participate in code reviews to ensure coding standards are followed
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our software development process

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a software developer
- Expertise in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python
- Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure
- Knowledge of web development frameworks like AngularJS or ReactJS
- Familiarity with database management systems (MySQL, MongoDB)
- Experience with mobile app development is a plus
