Hotel Sales Manager



As a Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and increasing revenue for our hotel in Faro. You will be in charge of managing the sales team and implementing strategies to attract and retain clients in order to meet and exceed sales targets. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to attract new business and increase revenue
- Lead, train, and manage the sales team to ensure they are motivated and meeting their targets
- Establish relationships with key clients and maintain regular communication to identify business opportunities
- Conduct market research and analyze data to identify trends, competition, and potential new markets
- Collaborate with other departments such as marketing and operations to ensure a cohesive approach towards achieving sales goals
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities for management review
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network with potential clients and promote the hotel brand

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience in hotel sales management or related role
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals successfully
- In-depth knowledge of the hospitality industry including current market trends, competitors, and potential new markets
- Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal in English (Portuguese proficiency is a plus)
- Willingness to travel for business purposes as required

We offer a competitive salary of 1600$ per month along with accommodation provided. Candidates must have a biometric passport or be willing to obtain one for travel purposes.
