Heavy Equipment Operator


We are in need of a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Bergen, Norway. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of heavy equipment, including bulldozers, excavators, and backhoes. This is a contract position with a salary of 1800$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently according to company standards
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper function
- Monitor equipment performance and report any issues or malfunctions
- Follow project plans and blueprints to complete assigned tasks
- Adhere to all safety regulations and precautions on the job site
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Complete paperwork and reports as required

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator or similar role
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operation and maintenance techniques
- Ability to read and interpret project plans and blueprints
- Physical strength and stamina to handle long hours of sitting, standing, and lifting heavy objects
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working on construction sites or in a similar setting
- Knowledge of safety regulations for operating heavy equipment
- Certification from a recognized training program for heavy equipment operation
