Entry-Level Turner in Pula, Croatia

Our engineering company in Pula is searching for an Entry-Level Turner to join our team. This is a contract position with a competitive salary of 1300$ per month. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery to produce precision metal parts and components.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Set up and operate machines such as lathes, grinders, and milling machines
- Monitor machine operation to ensure accuracy and quality of parts produced
- Inspect finished parts for defects and make necessary adjustments
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure proper functioning
- Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot issues and improve processes

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of machinery and tools used in turning operations
- Ability to read technical drawings and follow instructions accurately
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Physical strength and stamina to operate machinery for extended periods of time
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines

Preferred qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Turner or in a similar role is an asset but not required
- Biometric passport or willingness to obtain one if not already possessing it
