Land Surveyor
We are hiring a skilled and experienced Land Surveyor to join our team in Washington, USA. As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting surveys to determine property boundaries, topography, and other important information for construction or development projects. You will use various tools and equipment such as GPS, total stations, and drones to accurately collect data and create detailed maps and reports.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct surveys of land areas using various methods such as GPS, total stations, and traditional surveying tools
- Collect data on property boundaries, topography, existing structures, and other relevant information
- Create detailed maps and reports based on survey findings
- Work closely with engineers, architects, and construction teams to ensure accurate placement of structures and developments
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to land surveys
- Maintain accurate records of survey data
- Use computer software programs to analyze data and create digital maps
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying or related field
- At least 3 years of experience as a Land Surveyor
- Knowledge of surveying techniques and equipment such as GPS, total stations, drones etc.
- Experience with computer software programs used in surveying such as AutoCAD or GIS
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately collect data
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Valid driver's license
Salary: $1600 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Washington D.C., USA
