Network and Systems Administrator (Part-Time)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network and Systems Administrator to join our team on a part-time basis. As the Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining our company's network infrastructure, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. This position is based in the US.

Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain network equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls, etc.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Implement security measures to protect the company's network from potential threats.
- Maintain and update network documentation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any hardware or software issues related to the network.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as backups, updates, and patches.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Network and Systems Administrator.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.
- Experience with configuring and maintaining firewalls.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
