We are seeking a passionate and talented Game Developer to join our team in Funchal, Portugal. As a Game Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative games for various platforms. You should have a strong understanding of game design principles and be proficient in programming languages such as C++, Java, or Unity.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with designers and artists to develop game concepts and mechanics
- Write efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Implement features and systems such as gameplay mechanics, user interface, AI, networking, etc.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth gameplay experience
- Optimize game performance for different devices and platforms
- Stay updated with industry trends and new technologies to continuously improve our games

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- At least 2 years of professional experience in game development
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Java, or Unity
- Strong understanding of game design principles and mechanics
- Experience with game engines (e.g. Unreal Engine, Unity) is a plus
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Passion for gaming with a portfolio of personal projects or published games
