Gardener for Private Residence in Doha


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Gardener to join our team at a private residence in Doha. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about gardening and has a green thumb, with a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Gardener, preferably in a private residence setting, and will be able to work independently to maintain the grounds to the highest standard.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain the garden and outdoor areas of the private residence
- Plant, prune, water, and fertilize plants and trees
- Identify and treat plant diseases and pests
- Install new plants as needed
- Perform basic landscaping tasks such as mowing, edging, weeding, and raking
- Keep all outdoor areas clean and tidy
- Work with other members of the household staff to coordinate tasks

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Gardener, preferably in a private residence setting
- Knowledge of different types of plants, trees, flowers, and their care requirements
- Ability to identify plant diseases and pests and take appropriate action
- Physically fit with the ability to perform manual tasks such as lifting heavy objects, bending, kneeling etc.
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently without supervision
- Good communication skills in English (knowledge of Arabic would be an advantage)

Salary:
1800$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location:
Private residence in Doha

Preference:
Indian or Egyptian nationality preferred but all nationalities welcome to apply.

Working hours:
Full time - 6 days per week (with one day off)
9am - 6pm (with flexibility if needed)

Accommodation:
This is not a live-in position. Accommodation will not be provided.

Experience required:
No previous gardening experience required, but a passion for gardening and willingness to learn is essential.
