Land Surveyor - Mombasa, Kenya


We are seeking a qualified and experienced Land Surveyor to join our team in Mombasa, Kenya. As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting surveys and collecting data on land and property boundaries, topography, and other features for construction projects. You will use specialized tools and equipment to accurately measure and record data, create maps and reports, and work closely with engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure project success. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of land surveying techniques, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This is a full-time position with a salary of 900$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct surveys using specialized equipment such as GPS receivers, total stations, levels, drones, etc.
- Collect data on land features including boundaries, elevations, natural features, etc.
- Create detailed maps using surveying software
- Verify accuracy of data collected and make necessary adjustments
- Prepare reports on survey findings for clients or project managers
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure project goals are met
- Follow safety protocols while working in the field
- Keep up-to-date with new surveying techniques and technology

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in land surveying
- Proficiency in using surveying equipment and software
- Strong understanding of land surveying techniques and principles
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Physical fitness for outdoor work in various weather conditions

This position is open to both Kenyan nationals and foreign candidates. Fluency in English is preferred but not required. Biometric passport is not necessary.
