Instrument Technician - Malindi, Kenya



We are seeking an experienced and skilled Instrument Technician to join our team in Malindi, Kenya. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments used in industrial processes. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1300$ per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair instruments such as transmitters, sensors, controllers, and analyzers.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with instruments using various testing equipment.
- Perform routine calibrations and inspections to ensure instrument accuracy.
- Keep track of inventory and order necessary supplies for instrument maintenance.
- Document all repairs and maintenance work in a timely manner.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an Instrument Technician.
- Excellent knowledge of electrical principles and instrumentation techniques.
- Familiarity with different types of instruments used in industrial processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Physically fit and able to work in varying weather conditions.

Preferred qualifications:
- Diploma or certificate in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Experience working with pneumatic control systems.
- Knowledge of PLC programming.
