Network and Systems Administrator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Network and Systems Administrator to join our growing team in Kaunas. As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and upgrading our network and computer systems. Your role will involve setting up new networks, monitoring network performance, installing software updates, and resolving any issues that may arise. You should have strong technical knowledge in areas such as network security, cloud computing, and virtualization.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Network and Systems Administrator
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Knowledge of networking protocols and technologies
- Experience with server virtualization (VMware or Hyper-V)
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS or Azure)
- Proficient in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Responsibilities:

- Maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, etc.
- Install software updates and security patches on servers and workstations
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Implement disaster recovery plans to ensure data backup and recovery
- Manage user accounts for access to various systems
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to design efficient network solutions
- Implement security measures to protect against cyber threats
- Provide technical support to end users
- Document network configurations, procedures, and policies

Salary: We offer a competitive salary of 1500$ per month.

Location: This is a full-time job located in Kaunas.
